IELTS writing – graph tips 1

They are some common patterns that can be used to describe a line graph. It's better for you to remember how to use the patterns in these samples.
Tips #1:
Exports of the garments fell dramatically in the first half of the year, but recovered slightly and remained stable from late October onwards.
Imports of the garments fluctuated, especially in the first three months of the year, but the general trend was  upwards.


Tips #2:
The notebook sales fell slightly at the beginning of the year, but then began to rise dramatically, not slowing down until the final quarter of the year.
The PC sales were stable until July, then entered a period of fluctuation which lasted for the rest of the year.


Tips #3:
Demand of the fruit increased slightly during the first six month of the year, then fluctuated before starting to fall sharply in October.
Production of the fruit , however, remained reasonably stable throughout the year.
